 Aerial view over Strathpine, early 1980s. Westfield Shoppingtown, shown in the early stages of construction, was officially opened on 22 August 1983. The Country Club Hotel can be seen on the west side of Gympie Road. This hotel has since been demolished and replaced by a modern building nearby. |
