 Aerial view over Strathpine, 1972. Looking south toward Brendale. New suburban development be seen. Strathpine Plaza can be seen at the intersection of Bells Pocket Road and Gympie Road. Much of the residential and commercial development during the late 1960s and early 1970s can be attributed to W.H. (Bill) Bowden who developed and marketed numerous estates in the area with the slogan: "Little Aspley - that's Strathpine." |
