 Piggott's Bakery and General Store, Strathpine. Built in 1882 by Richard William Piggott, who with his wife, Ellen and other family members, operated the bakery, and later, a general store. Three generations of the family were involved with the business until in closed in 1961. The Piggott family home, to the right of the photo, still stands on Gympie Road opposite the Pine Rivers Shire Council buildings. See the internal view here. |
