 Strathpine State School was opened in 1911 on Gympie Road opposite the Buckby Street intersection. The horse drawn vehicle under the building was probably used by the head teacher. You can see old school desks, slates and school displays at Pine Rivers Heritage Museum at North Pine Country Park and Samford historical Museum. |
